This week I found a good friend here. It all begins when another exchange student invited me to perform in their video shot and she was also invited, we knew each other because we lived at the same floor in school hostel but barely talked before. We talked for a while waiting at the film studio and we found that we were both fans of ‘Harry Potter’. There are a lot of tricks and fun only fans can get the points of. We were both excited to find someone who can share our fondness of Harry Potter with. And at the time, the new movie ‘fantastic beasts’ which tells the former-age story of Harry Potter sequence was about to show in Singapore. We both wanted to watch the movie. In the following days we often spent time together watching movies on the computer or just talk about our favorite movie characters. Thanks to her company I no longer feel alone in Singapore and life with good friend and happiness is so worth living.

This week i went to the universal studio in sentosa with my friends. It ‘s a fantastic game studio which is Southeast Asia’s first and only Universal Studios theme park, featuring 24 rides, shows and attractions in seven themed zones. It was the first time i have been to a universal studio and we have a lot of fun here. We experience cutting-edge rides, shows, and attractions based on many our favourite blockbuster films and television series

While strolling around the park, we can often came cross an exciting live performances or ran into actors dressed as our favorite character and it’s quite good we can get up close and personal to snap a photo for free. But i was too afraid to take the thrill rides which were their most famous games. In a word. Happy days ends too quickly.

李想 Li Xiang-The last class of HASS

Time passed too fast, and the HASS course ended in a blink of an eye. I really like the teaching style of the professor. There are many small practice games in the course. It is very interesting to let us all participate. I enjoy every HASS course and I have learned a lot about psychology and anthropology. When I left, I told the professor: I really enjoyed your course, thank you!

The Embassy in Singapore hosted the “Chunhui Cup” Business Plan Competition, and I was fortunate to participate in the awards ceremony with friends. Each team is very powerful, and I am greatly inspired by their sharing of innovations. It is thus known that China is also focusing on the entrepreneurship of overseas students, as well as international exchanges. I believe that in the innovative country of Singapore, the development of their original will be better!

In order to prepare for the presentation, we spent a lot of time rehearsing, we sat down to discuss the problems in the subject and constantly improve our research methods. During the rehearsal, I was very grateful to Winnie for patiently correcting my pronunciation. I was still a bit nervous  during the presentation, but I am very grateful for  everyone’s encouragement!

After a few weeks of exploration, we finally determined the direction of the product. We posted our products on the crowdfunding website, and we look forward to investors who are willing to help us. This process is very meaningful, and it is also a process of continuous improvement and continuous exploration. We are very happy to see the comments on our products!

I was afraid of doing a website before because I wouldn’t write code. This time out of the team division, my task is to complete our corporate website. Really start to find out that it is not difficult to do a website. Good tools can greatly improve efficiency. Finally, the website was successfully built in the afternoon, and it was appreciated by teammates. I felt that I should try more and not be afraid of no experience.

According to the requirements of the course, we have to complete the report in one week. As a group, we are very serious. What impressed me the most was that my friends in Singapore gave me great encouragement and help. They taught me how to write research reports and help me to fix  my  grammar. This made me understand that people who are really strong are more willing to help others. More modest and low-key, I learned a lot from them.

Due to the arrangement of the HBTD course, I signed up for the design workshop jointly organized by SMU. The organizer invited several famous designers from Singapore to share their experiences. Listening to their stories made me very rewarding. I really like this salon. Activities have given me a lot of opportunities to interact with designers.
