Today, I went to Haji Lane and Little India with my classmates to experience the local customs.

Hazhi lane makes me feel like Tian Zi Fang in Shanghai, China, where there are many small shops selling some exquisite things and it is crowded with many tourists. What impressed me most was the architecture there. Many old buildings were repainted with bright colors. The color contrast style was very obvious and beautiful.

After that, we went to little India, which is the gathering place of Indian people in Singapore. There are many authentic Indian restaurants. Walking on the street, you will feel like you are really in India, where the atmosphere and environment are very different.

Anglican House is an apartment in Anglican High School, and we’ll be here for the first three months of our stay in Singapore. It’s a little remote from the city center, but the environment here is very beautiful and clean. Our building head is a kind uncle, he has been in this school for nearly thirty years and has been engaged in the dormitory management work. He often takes the initiative to ask us about our recent life and cares about us very much. He occasionally invites us to sit in his living room and invite us to eat some authentic food.

According to my classmates in Singapore, this side is a wealthy area in Singapore, so the environment is relatively good, and it is usually very quiet, which is very suitable for living. We are about 20 minutes’ drive from the school.

Today, I also went to taste a very famous breakfast restaurant in Singapore, Yakun. The hot spring egg is really worthy of its name, which is very delicious!
