吴雪奕 Wu Xueyi-Trip to Singapore National Art Museum

Last week I visited the Singapore National Art Museum.

With the Student Pass, I entered the museum for free.

Before coming to Singapore,I ‘ve seen this special building because it is a successful case for refreshment of historical building. But I did’t realize it is just Singapore national art museum until I came here.

In the museum , I appreciated a lot of precious art work.

It is a good memory for me in Singapore!

曹家扬 Cao Jiayang – Farewell to Singapore

The period we experience in Singapore is almost to the end. I have so many feelings about it during this time.

Singapore is a small but prosperous country with booming economic and multiple cultures. You may feel you were in China, India, Thailand, Europe or other regions varying with where you are. Nut no matter what kind of culture you are in, it is always open and kind to you.

Singaporean are generally well-mannered. The waiters in stores will always greet you with smile. Cars will keep waiting behind the cross road until pedestrians pass by. If any crash happens, you will hear sorry first. These points do show Singapore’s special beauty.

And Singapore cares disadvantaged groups a lot. Wherever there is an elevator, there must be a lift nearby, which helps those disabled so much. It is often to see close malls connected by path with roof, so you don”t need to worry about bad weather. And there was I time when I needed to cross the War Memorial Park to Suntec City. But when I stepped out the MRT station, I was shocked by the design of the underground plaza, which blocked out the hot weather and left space for shopping mall. Quite a caring and wise design.

To sum up, I had so many beautiful memories about Singapore. I will always keep them in my heart. Maybe I will visit Singapore again after several years maybe not. But what I won’t forget are the happiness and movement I got here.

杨珺杰 Yang junjie- SUTD,don’t say goodbye

Time flies! The four-month exchange study life in Singapore is about to end in two months. My heart is full of perseverance. I miss the summer full of vitality, the warm and friendly teachers and classmates here, the positive and optimistic atmosphere here, and everything here. In these four months of study life, I learned to be independent, to be brave, to learn to actively communicate with others, and to learn a lot of new knowledge.

These are things I ca n’t learn in my country, and it ’s also  One of the biggest things I gains here. Although it’s parting, I don’t want to say goodbye. I hope we can meet again in the near future! Singapore, say you again!

I can quickly recall the streets I have traveled, the food I have eaten, and the people I met , Experience, these will leave the most sincere shadow on my life.

杨珺杰 Yang junjie -Site investigation

This is the first field survey I have done since I came to Singapore to study architecture. Together with the teacher’s organization, we drove to Singapore to conduct a site survey near the city center. I’m looking forward to it and I’m very excited. This is also the first group trip for everyone.

Near the venue, we all took out paper and pen for recording and took a lot of photos. The teacher also explained a lot of methods and techniques for field investigation, which made me learn a lot of new knowledge! After the survey, my friends and I stopped by to visit nearby attractions and watched a movie! What a fulfilling and fun day!
